Cub Scout Resident Camp
Cub Scout Resident Camp at Camp Mountaineer is a five-day, four-night resident (overnight) camp experience for Cub Scouts entering grades of 1-5 the following school year. Per Scouting America standards, Lions (Scouts entering kindergarten) are not eligible to attend resident camp. Tiger Scouts (Scouts entering 1st grade) must be accompanied by an adult partner.
Camp Mountaineer provides a safe and fun way to experience the great outdoors, even if your Scout (or you!) have never camped before. Create a lifetime of memories!

Dates 2027
Packs can now secure their stay at Cub Scout Resident Camp with a $300 deposit with an estimated number of youth and adult attendees.
Cub Scout Resident Camp: July 14-17, 2027
Webelos Experience (add-on): July 17-18, 2027
Camper Fees 2027
Youth - $270
- $320 if paid after Apr 15
- +$80 for Webelos Experience add-on
Adults & Den Chiefs - $150
1 FREE adult with at least 4 Scouts + 1 FREE adult for every 10 Scouts
- +$50 for Webelos Experience add-on
- $60 per night for overnight adult leaders or den chiefs
4-9 Scouts: 1 FREE adult
10-19 Scouts: 2 FREE adults
20-29 Scouts: 3 FREE adults
There are NO additional fees for packs from outside the Mountaineer Area Council.
Packs must attend with at least 2 adults registered in the pack age 21+.
(Mountaineer Area Council policy) All overnight adults MUST be registered in Scouting America and have a current Safeguarding Youth Training.
