Distinguished Citizens Dinner (DCD)
The annual Distinguished Citizens Dinner is the premiere fundraising event in support of Scouting America programs throughout Mountaineer Area Council – covering 22 counties in northern West Virginia and eastern Ohio. Not only does it celebrate amazing leaders and organizations in our region, but will also showcase educators and others who are making a difference in our communities. The event will feature entertainment, live and silent auctions, a delicious meal, cash bar and more.
This is your opportunity to make a difference and support over 2,000 youth involved in Scouting America from our local communities. Through the Scouting programs, each youth develops leadership skills, positive character, citizenship, and personal fitness. With the help of hundreds of registered adult volunteers, Scouts perform service hours throughout our communities and participate in countless day, weekend, or week-long events.
